The Capoeira school Cordão de Ouro - South Africa was created by Monitor Frajola at the beginning of February 2008, soon after he arrived in Cape Town.
Frajola started Capoeira in 2002 in the group Senzala in Paris, with Contra-Mestre Torneiro and Professora Cristina. He then joined the group Cordão de Ouro in 2003 in Campinas, Sao Paulo (Brazil), where he trained for two and a half years with Contra-Mestre Pintado and Instrutor Escova. He then moved to France and joined Cordão de Ouro in Paris, where he was supervised by Contra-Mestre Chicote.
During these last six years, Monitor Frajola incorporated the style and phylosophy of the group Cordão de Ouro. Under the encouragement of Contra-Mestre Chicote, he opened his own Capoeira school in Cape Town, where he currently shares his knowledge and skills with the students of Cordão de Ouro - South Africa.
