Every year in January, the Cordão de Ouro group organises the Capoeirando in Ilhéus, in the state of Bahia in Brazil. Capoeiristas from all over the world come together to participate in this festival and enjoy a week of workshops, seminars, rodas, parties, axé a lot of sun, fun and beach time.
Capoeira Cordão de Ouro, UCT Capoeira and Abadá Capoeira will be collaborating to hold a workshop in celebration of National Women's Day 2008. A short workshop class will be taught by the instructors of each school.
